More and more people find a local business by asking ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI Overviews, not by scrolling a page of blue links. The answer names two or three businesses, and anyone it leaves out has lost that customer. Most small businesses have no idea whether they are being named.
GTA AI SEO is an agency built around that question. It combines programmatic local SEO with Generative Engine Optimization: taking information that is already spread across a business’s website, Google profile, reviews, directories, LinkedIn and community threads, and making it say one consistent thing about what the business does and where it works. Search engines and AI models can only recommend a business they can understand.
I work on it with Shaz Khan, who founded it in Oakville in 2023. He brings ten years of SEO, and I bring product and engineering. The site shows what the work means instead of describing it: you pick an industry and see a real customer question answered by an AI model, before and after optimisation.
Pricing is published per industry, starting at CA$650 a month on a three-month first term. Results are reported as separate metrics (search clicks, Google AI impressions and sampled AI citations) and not blended into one flattering number. LendRight, Halal Food Pass and Heron Cleaning, also on this page, are among the clients.
